However, according to Raedsch, even normal hormonal changes, such as during pregnancy or menopause, can weaken the immune system so that the fungi multiply dramatically.

Medicines such as antibiotics favor fungal infections. However, the specialist not only blames the immune system for the uncontrolled growth of the fungal pathogens in the intestine, but also underlines the crucial importance of medications such as antibiotics, cortisone or various immunosuppressants (used after organ transplants so that those affected have foreign organs do not repel).
